Photos can't show the marine traffic coming into and out of the ports here in Singapore. There was a steady stream of ships in the channel with us as we pass many of them. Hundreds of ships were at anchor as well.
Singapore takes the rules very serious about everything. Especially immigration. We have to show our passport every time we get off or on the ship. They have a very strict society and little personal freedom but also an orderly and very clean city. It is definitely a different type of culture and it seeps though all of society
Today's tour was the city tour and orchid garden. We stopped at Mt Faber for the views of the city
After that we had another photo stop in town by the concert hall
Then on to the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple.
The temple was very cool and a great stop. The chanting monks were total sensory experience. The smell of the incense, the sound and vibrational feel of the chanting and the visual overload of the place.
The Singapore botanical gardens were amazing. We did a tour of the orchid garden in an hour but I could have spent all day there.
These are a small sample of the hundreds of incredible flowers we saw.
