Wednesday March 8th - Ho Chi Minh arrival

The Sun burned though the haze this morning in an orange cloud around 6:30am.  It is going to be a hot one.  Coffee ☕ on the veranda listening to the ocean in a bathrobe is an experience I have become accustomed to and will surely miss.   

The cruise up the river was a string of boats and fish farms that go on for miles.

Clearing customs and immigration was longer than planned and hundreds of people were in the star theater waiting on tours and clearance to get off.  

We got on the included tour about an hour and a half late but it worked out well as we got to see Saigon at night.

The last helicopter out was from this building just as Saigon fell.  It was a interesting city
