Back on board is 1 pm. Today's tour is the Iconic Singapore. Our time here has been in Stark contrast to Vietnam, Thailand and Indonesia. The lawless nature of the motor bike traffic and pot shops in Thailand vs the city where most people use the public transit and heavy fines for chewing gum. Societies with an actual cast system vs the economic layers in Singapore where most people live in government housing and cars are only for the wealthy.
The tour started the gardens by the bay waterfront park
the flowers in the flower garden were unbelievable. There were even 1,000 year old olive trees that have been transplanted into the garden. We unfortunately did not get time to do the cloud forest exhibit but I here it was great. This is a city I would do indepently if I were to come again.
After the gardens we did a little river boat tour that was interesting.

after the boat tour we went to the marina bay sands skyline park at the top of this building
the view from the top was great
then bus transfer back to the ship.
Back on board time was 1 pm but our bus didn't arrive until 1:30
That is the nice part of a viking tour no worries just a lot of waiting.
Lunch and watching sail away when a white bellied sea eagle flew overhead
