The Indian bureaucracy has been ramped up to a new level as finger prints were required getting off the ship and also getting back on. The men were separated from the women to go through separate lines. And the forms are stamped along with the passports.
The crocodile and spice garden tour was good. Bus ride through Goa with a very informative guide talking about the history and lifestyle of the people of Goa. The people here seem to drink a little bit more than in other parts of India.
Ride through the market:
then out into a country where we off the bus and walk down to a ferry. We then walked over to the tour boats and started down the canal. We saw lots of birds along the brackish canal. After about 20 minutes, we came upon a pair of large crocodiles basking in the sun up on the bank. The big male immediately went for the water.
He was much bigger than any alligator I have ever seen.
After the crocodiles they turn the boat around, passed out beers and curry samosas. Then we headed back to the landing.
after the crocodile tour we got back on the ferry to go back to the bus and then headed to the spice garden. This was about the 3rd or 4th spice garden we visited on the cruise. It was much of the same other tours.
We got the full flower pedal shower when we arrived.
lunch was good but long lines as they were serving several buses. There were also monkeys in the trees when we arrived
