https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elephanta_Caves8:15am tour on bus 3 to the elephanta caves. The bus ride was about 15 minutes over to the Arch of India where we boarded ferry boats.
After the hour ferry we got on a train that took us over to the base of the hill. It was then monkeys and 120 stairs up to the caves the walk up was lined with venders on both sides
