7 am arrival in Port.

Today's tour was Ephesus. The old ruins were once a sea port but the meander river silted in several miles and left the ruins miles from the ocean.  Most of the ruins that are standing were reconstructed whereas most of the site is yet to be excavated.

After the tour I walked around the port to buy a shirt and get a doner kabab.
